Haidh, ’S e Estelle an t-ainm a th’ orm …

Hi, I’m Estelle …

I'm a Clinical Psychotherapist with 25+ years of experience in varied and dynamic roles, offering trauma-informed somatic psychotherapy for clients, as well as staff support, clinical supervision, and training.

My work is anchored in supporting you to build trust in yourself and reconnect with the innate resources that have always been part of you.

I’m a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, a NeuroAffective Touch® Foundation Graduate, and a Structural and Systemic Family Constellations facilitator.  Inspired by both contemporary science and ancient wisdom's, I work with the body’s innate intelligence to support the resolution and integration of shock, developmental trauma, and chronic stress, across personal and inter-generational dimensions.

My clinical roots are in dual diagnosis inpatient treatment, working at the intersection of complex trauma and substance use.  This foundation continues to shape my integrative approach, which centers nervous system regulation, attachment repair, and embodiment.

I’m a PACFA-accredited Clinical Supervisor, hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Sciences, and I’m trained in EMDR and the Flash Technique.

I serve as a senior assistant for Somatic Experiencing® professional trainings in Australia, and provide personal sessions at all levels and beginners case consults toward SE™ student accreditation.

I’ve maintained a longstanding private practice and have worked extensively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and teams.  I’ve also contracted with the Australian Defence Force, legal firms, and agencies in the family violence sector.  My work has taken me from South Australia to Far North Queensland, the Gulf of Carpentaria and all across Victoria.

Outside the clinic, I’m a passionate fermenter, traveller, animal lover, terrible golfer, herbal concoctor, and pushy rider. I spend my time learning Scottish Gaelic, writing, weaving, singing, dancing, and immersing myself in the Sun, water, art, music, ritual practice and sacred geometry.

The photographs across this site are my own and are part of how I map beauty in this world 🌏

Philosophy & Vision

My north star is that our bodies hold deep wisdom, and when met with the right conditions, connection and presence, expresses its innate capacity to heal.

I integrate somatic (body-based), attachment focused, systemic, and trauma-informed frameworks to support clients and professionals in cultivating resilience, embodied presence, and system-aware care.

My approach draws on contemporary neurobiological insights and ancient wisdom's to foster meaningful, sustainable change - post-traumatic growth.

My vision is to see body-aware, trauma-informed practices embedded not only in psychotherapy, but also in clinical supervision, staff well-being programs, and across organisational culture and community health settings.
